Busy few weeks
Busy few weeks here at Rogue Games; both personally and Rogue-wise. On the personal side I am done with art school, and my time is a little more freer and because of this, Rogue Games has my full attention again. My father-in-law passed away last month, and leading up to that he was very ill. As a result, this took a lot of time, and it was time I needed to take. Now that September is behind me, things are clearer and happily, freer.
Colonial Gothic: Locations is nearing completion. This is a big book – 274 pages – and will be in full color. The design of the book was what took a lot of time. I wanted the graphic look to be right, and I wanted it to enhance the great work Jennifer Brozek did in writing this. I hope that you will agree when you get to see it. I am shooting for a pre-order to go live by the weekend. Worse case it will go live next Monday. I should have the page for the book up by tomorrow as well.
Shadow, Sword & Spell will get my attention next. I need to get Companion is much better state. In addition I have a adventure I have been working on, that I want to get done. It is an island adventure, and It is my homage to the venerable, Isle of Dread. There are a few other things in the work for this, but nothing concrete yet.
Flames of Freedom: Shadows Upon The Hudson is moving out of rough draft. I will be writing this over the next month, and this will be out next year. I hit a road block with this – namely writer’s block – and nothing was clicking so I put this to rest for a while. I am glad I did because I feel much better about it.
Finally the 12/12/12 12:12:12 release is making the home stretch. The manuscript is now at the editor. The playtesting for the most part is done, and soon my work to make this into a book you will not forget begins. I have played this close to the vest, but when this is released on 12/12/12 12:12:12, you will be surprised.
In all, this is where things stand.
